Me and my girlfriend keep getting cysts. My girlfriend woke this morning to find two more on her bottom. She recently had an absess operated on her bottom also. I had a cyst on my scrotum which has now gone. I went to my gp and he said it's nothing to worry about and as i am a diabetic i am more prone to cysts. My girlfriend, before meeting me, had never had any issues with cysts so i cant help but feel i am responsible. We havent had sex for 2the weeks so not sure if it is an sti. Any advice welcome
thank you for query.it is not clear about the type of cysts you are describing.if your doctor has seen it and said it is normal then it may due to sebaceous cysts which are common in the genital area which do occur frequently and recur also.you need not worry and do not bother.only if they enlarge and persists you need to take doctors opinion.it is unlikely to be std.You can get back for any clarifications with details and photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and venereologist.
