Chances Of Pregnancy Having Breast Tenderness And Abdominal Cramps?
Hi I had sex with my boyfriend on January 6 unprotected and he did ejaculate inside me. 3 hours later I took the plan b pill. A couple of days later I felt nausea, breast tenderness and abdominal cramps. I took a pregnancy test on January 15th and it was negative. I was suppose to get my period on January 18th and still nothing. This morning with first urine I took another test and it was negative. Can I be pregnant? I m still having minor cramps and my breast aren t sore anymore.
Hello, well from the history you have given, since you have taken the emergency contraceptive pill at the right time, the chances of pregnancy are less.Sometimes premenustral symptoms can also present with breast tenderness and abdominal cramps. To be assured you can do a serum beta HCG test (blood test), confirmatory to rule out pregnancy, because in very early weeks of gestation the urine pregnancy test may show faintly positive line or will not turn out to be positive, this is because of low levels of beta HCG. If pregnancy is ruled out, you can wait for sometime for your periods as stress also delays the cycle sometimes. If your periods are still getting delayed, then you may have to consult your gynaecologist, to get medications for withdrawal bleeding. Hope i was helpful to you.
