Chances Of Pregnancy Having Tubes Tied And Nausea?
I had my tubes tied 5 years ago. Over the 2 weeks I have been nauseated and throwing up mostly in the mornings and at night. I am tired all the time. I have no appetite. My sense of smell has increased. I have been going to the bathroom more. My breast arent really that sore mostly my nipples with a dull shooting pain in them. I took a test and it said negative but I calculated everything and I would only be 2.5 weeks. Could I be pregnant???
Hi. I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.
Though Tubal ligation is the effective way of preventing pregnancy, the rate of pregnancy after first year is around 1/1,000 & between 2-10/1,000 after five years. However the possibility of pregnancy is low, the chances are still there.
Also Tubal ligation increases the risk of ectopic pregnancy, which is an emergency in turn.
I advice you to do serum beta HCG test which is more reliable than HPT to rule out pregnancy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
