Change In Urination Habit After Going To Gym, Have To Strain While Urinating, No Pain. Any Ideas?

I am a 66 year old female in pretty good health. I have noticed that since I began working out at the gym 3 times a week, I no longer have to get up in the middle of the night to urinate. However, it almost seems I can go too long without having to urinate. But the main problem is that when I do urinate, my urine stops and I have to really push and strain to feel like I'm emptying my bladder. I have no pain. Could it just be that my anatomy (bowels etc) are in the way?

Hi,
It seems that you might have a problem of having Cystocele i.e. prolapse of bladder.
This problem might have before but due to doing gym due to increase intra abdominal pressure might aggravated the condition leading to apply more pressure while urinating or stoppage of flow.
consult gynaec and get examined.
Meanwhile stop going to gym.
Ok and take care.
