Chest And Throat Pain After Singing, Pain In Neck, Collar Bone
I am getting chest and throat pain especially after I sing, stays for a few hours then goes, but have noticed it coming like this for a few weeks, its more like burning than a pain, its either side of chest neck and also around the collar bone , I am 46 and have no health problems , not a smoker/drinker and no family history of anything. Please help , is there anything i should be worried about?
Pain in your case is due to Peptic ulcer. It will be burning in nature in the epigastric region and chest. It is most common cause epigastric and chest pain in many of individuals.
Pain is due to excess amount of gastric acid production and acid reflux into esophagus through weak lower esophageal sphincter (which protects esophagus from acid reflux)
Take pantaprazole tablets twice daily for 10 days. It gives symptomatic relief.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine and late night dinner. These measures will keep your esophageal sphincter in a good tone and prevent gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Thank you.
