Chest Hair That Leave Dark Marks When Plucked. Advise?
I am an African American female and have been growing chest hairs from my early 20s, I will be 30 this year and want to get rid of these hairs. When i pluck they come back with a pulse bump and leaves a dark mark. I have always had small light few sideburn hairs but now they are becoming longer, darker and more. I dont want to cut or pluck, afraid of getting a beard? I bought a laser hair removal kit but my skin was too dark. What are my options and is there a professional laser hair removal to where my skin do not get burnt?
You seem to have post inflammatory hyper pigmentation due to inflammation of the tissues caused by plucking of hair.
The hair of your side burns are becoming darker and longer probably due to hormonal changes.
There are professional lasers available for dark skin types like ND-YAG laser. But get it done from well trained practitioners instead of home kit. Get a hormonal work up done before you start laser hair reduction.
Hope this solves your query.
