Chest Pain,radiates To Both Arm,irregular Occurrences,last For Few Minutes,Normal Weight 80kg & Height 175cm. Suggestion?
Hi dr.
I'm 30 years old. I have been having occurrences of what I can only best describe as chest pressure that radiates to both my arms as numbness. These occurrences come on irregularly and vary from mild to severe and last between 30sec to several minutes.
They started over 9 months ago and only happened once or twice in the first 4-6 months. More recently however they have become more frequent, occurring every week or two and sometimes multiple times in one day.
In the beginning I was quite overweight and had registered high blood pressure readings at work based medicals. However in the last 8 months I have lost over 20kg and am now very fit and at my last medical my blood pressure was very good. I now weigh 80kg and am 175cm tall.
I never have an episode whilst training, they only seem to occur at rest or doing light tasks.

You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,RFT,Lipid profile,Ultrasound of abdomen,ECG in all leads,Upper GI endoscopy,Further investigations may be done if needed.
There may be various causes for your problem like cardiac or gastrointestinal causes.
Treatment can be done after proper clinical examination and investigations reports.
