hi doctors my 2years old son was diagnosed to have pus cells 2-4 hpf in his stoll her doctor told as that this is normal nothing to worry but i want to make sure and to have second opinion is this normal do need to undergo with medication? what is the causes of pus cells what is the basic treatment do we need to change his milk i need ur answer as soon as posible thank u.

Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
2-4 pus cells/HPF in the stool sample is normal and there is nothing to worry.
The cause of pus cells in the stools is infection
The basic treatment is antibiotic if the pus cells are >10/HPF.
Changeof milk is not needed.
