Child. Diagnosed With Croup. On Steroids And Amoxicillin. Temperature 35.5, Cough, Cold To Touch. Advice
My 19 month old son has a temperature of 35° He was diagnosed with croup on tuesday and was given steroids and amoxicillin. We went to hospital last night as his temperature was 35.5° and was told to go straight to A&E if his temperature went to 35°. He has woken up 4 times in 2 hours coughing and crying. He is currently awake and sort of being himself but does feel cold to touch. What shall i do?

Your child is is on right treatment line.
Antipyretic and analgesic like paracetamol is required to be added along with Oral antihistaminc and decongestant medicine.
Frequent steam inhalation along with Nebulization with L salbutamol and some steroid like budesonide will relieve his symptoms fast.
