Child. Sweating And Thirst At Night, Cough With Phelgm. Advised Normal. Suggestions?

My son is 3 and he sweats really mostly and night he is that bad some nights we have to change .he is constantly thirsty too .he wakes up with a cough and he sounds like he has a lot of phlem in his throat he wee a lot and we put that down to him drinking a lot .ive been to my doctor and he said there is nothing to worry about but this ain't normal can you help me

have you checked his sugar levels

give him green tea and honey

steam inhalation also improve symptoms

is he alergic to pollen or dust?

keep him hydrated

give him lot of fluids

If he has not been tested for TB or had a chest xray then that is the next step I would insist on as he sounds like he has some chronic infection such as bronchitis, pneumonia. or perhaps even an inhaled foreign body.
