Hi.
Thanks for choosing HCM.
YOu need to see for few more symptoms to come for a diagnosis.
Is there any redness or pain or watering of eyes?
Is there any itching, excessive rubbing of eyes which in turn causes redness?
It could be an infective conjunctivitis ( viral or bacterial ) or an allergic conjuctivitis ( seasonal ) both of which are usually associated with redness.
Infective conjuntivitis is self limiting but causes lot of discomfort for which the kid needs to take medications.
It could be because of dryness also which is relatively rare at this age group.
Don't worry. Consult an opthalmologist at your place for treatment.
Take care. Post me if there are any more queries. Will be available for follow up.
