Child Diagnosed With Hyper Inflation, Suspicion Of Bronchial Asthma. Advised Omnacortil, Nebulization. Right Treatment?
Hi Dr. Samuel. Last night my 4 year old daughter faced difficulty and we rushed to the nearby hospital in emergency. She was nebulized Salbutamol 2.5 mg along with 2 ml of NS thrice in 1 hour. The doctor has diagnosed hyper inflation after the Chest X-Ray and suspects that it may happen to be a chance of Bronchial Asthma . Further he had administered Syp. OMNACORTIL 7.5 ml to be started and than taken after 12 hours. Nebulization is continued with Salbutamol 2.5 mg along with 2 ml of NS thrice in 1 hour and thereafter thrice every 3 hours. Please suggest if the line of treatment is correct.
