Child Had Bruise After Hitting Forehead. Taking Longer Naps Than Usual. Should I Be Worried?

my almost 12 month old hit his forehead really bad this morning...had an imitate bruise...he cried and he calmed down fast...but when he took a nap like 2 hours after ...it was a long nap..does not really sleep that long...then he was only up for couple hours and took another nap...he hasnt been himself...not he has a fever feels like it....should i be worried??? please help

Hello dear ,
thanks for your query at health care magic,
if there is serious injury child will have drowsy ness, vomitings, altered sensorium, seizures, and excessive cry.
if there are any above mentioned symptoms please take your child to emergency deaprtment and get CT or MRI scan done that will rule out any serious injury.
if not do not worry mild injury child may have excess sleep
but keep watch on the child
regards.
