Dear Dawn, I think there is no need to worry. The most important thing is that doctors ruled out surgical emergency... There are no abnormal findings,both diagnostic and laboratory. However, if symptoms occur again it shouldnt be underestimated. Abdominal pain in this age is usually caused by: Infections, Food-related, poisoning and surgical problems. The best diagnostic test now is time . Just be patient, listen and watch your child and his complains. look for any sign of pain and change in his behavior. If you notice fever, diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss, urine and stool color change you should go to hospital.
