Child Has Cold, Fever, Red Eyes, Tiredness, Pale Face. Any Suggestions?

Hello my active and still breastfed 14 month old daughter has had a cold , now 2 days ago she was a lot better, having a good appetite and being her old self, last night she developed a temperature while sleeping, she has being very drowsy and feverish all day, she looks pale and the skin under her eyes (not in the eyes) looks reddish, like tired eyes and quite a contrast with her pale face. She sounds as if she has pleghm in her chest . She was quite active briefly and now she is back to be sleepy, feverish and with a shallow breath. Any suggestions? Thank you very much

Hi
Your kid needs to be examined by a doctor immediately.
Did you give her any medicines for her cold? Cough and cold medicines can make the child drowsy.
Since you say, she is pale, has a phlegm with shallow respiration, its a must to have her examined and get some investigations done as needed. All these may suggest she has a severe infection.
