Child Has Cough And Cold. Prescribed Maxtra And Nasoclear. Can Vaccines Be Given Together With Medicines?
Hi, My one and half month old son is suffering from cough and cold for the past 2 days. His doctor examined his and chest and said its only due to change of weather and prescribed Maxtra drops (4 drops 3 times daily) for 7 days and Nasoclear (2 drops) if needed. I am a little bit worried as the vaccination time has also arrived and I want to know weather Vaccines could be given while taking the above medicines?
Hi
For simple cold and cough there is no need to postpone the vaccination. Vaccination usually postponed if there is no fever illness. So consult your Pediatrician and go for vaccination on the scheduled date if there is no fever and you can continue the medication for cold and cough.
