Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Your child seems to have a Viral fever.

Nothing to worry fever may take 3 to 5 days to subside.

For fever you can give paracetamol in prescribed dose every 6 th hourly depending on the presence of fever.

If there is high grade fever you can give meftal in prescribed dose and do tepid sponging with lukewarm water.

Provide him adequate rest and give plenty of oral fluids to maintain hydration.

Consult your Pediatrician for the physical examination and for treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
