Child Has Gastric Bug, Frequent Urination, Tingling In Pubic Bone. Taken Calpol. Any Suggestions?

My 8 year old daughter has had a gastric bug in last 24 hours. she is now needing to urinate frequently, but not passing much. her bladder feels full and she keeps getting a tingling feeling across her pubic bone.

she had these symptoms about 1 month ago and had urine test which showed no UTI.

it must feel strange as it is not letting her get to sleep. I gave her 10ml of Calpol about one hour ago.

Any suggestions? Thnaks

Hi Dear

Welcome to the platform of Health Care Magic

As you have narrated the symptoms, they all lead the picture of Urinary tract Infection and cystitis.

Urine culture and sensitivity in investigation which can conclude the diagnosis.

Plenty of liquids, some alkaliser and relvent antibiotic with proper dose and duration will eradicate the problem completely.

Hope the qurey is answered.

Thanks
