Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. A temperature of 102 in a one year old child is not something to joke or make try and error with. Fevers are commonly caused by infections which could be viral or bacteria.
Increased temperature in children can predispose to convulsions that could be detrimental to the baby's brain.
Combiflam is meant to reduce body temperature and not to treat the underlying cause.
Viral infections generally get over after a couple of days and should not be persistent.
White blood cell count in case of infections can either be increased or decrease and should point in the direction of viral or bacterial infections. The value you have given for the white blood count is 0000 which does not look logical as white blood cell can't be zero less except otherwise.
You should get your child to be re-examined by
pediatrician with his tympanic membrane, throat and whole body examined. A CRP test should be done, if positive, it will imply there is a bacterial infection and antibiotics will be needed.
If you are in a
malaria endemic area, a blood smear or rapid diagnostic test should be done to rule out malaria as well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Achuo Ascensius
