He was on the antibiotic 'augmentin duo' each time along with grilinctus cough syrup..however this time hes got high fvr with blisters in throat again with dry cough and has been given antibiotic 'microcef 100 dt' and 'ascoril' cough syrup..is it safe to be given and what could be the reason for his recurring blisters and cough?
Hi, Thank you for asking question on health care magic the reason for recurring is probably the organism is resistat to the antibotics used better do aculure and sensitivity of throat swab and give suiable antibiotic in correct dose and requires duration it may be also fungal infection as many antibiotics have been used for a prolonged period better consult a pediatrician and take medicines Hope this answer will serve your purpose Take care Dr.M.V.Subrahmanyam MD;DCH Associate professor of pediatrics
