Child Has Soft Feces, Gets Stuck To Bottom, Smell Like Tar, Difficult To Wipe. Baby Only Breastfed. Advice?
My 10 month old baby is having very soft poo s. They often don t fully come out and get stuck to her bum. They are extremely smell, like tar. They also are very difficult to wipe away. Her diet hasn t changed and has 2 milk feed( breasted) a day. She has only been breasted no formula. She has 3 meals a day and a coup,e of snacks. Her appetite has reduced some what. Any advice?

She might be having infective diarrhea with probably mucus which may be a sign of infection in her stools. Her stools needs to be tested for any evidence of infection, if yes then she needs to be started on oral antibiotics else nothing to worry about. Continue same diet and give her plenty of liquids to drink
