Child Has Sore Throat, Tonsils Look Asymmetrical, Jagged With White Spots. Any Thoughts?
My daughter age 9 c/o sore throat last night. Tonsils look assymetrical, jagged with some white spots. She was up every hour last night complaining of stomach ache. Gagging and choking but not throwing up. She would gag, burp, then swallow . I asked her if she was trying to avoid throwing up but she said it is air. Any thoughts?
Hi, From history it seems that she might be having acute follicular tonsillitis. Due to infection in throat she might have hyper salivation resulting in nausea and burping. Consult your doctor and get examined. With one course of antibiotic she will be alright. Avoid giving junk food. Ok and take care.
