toddler (one year nine months) has swollen inner left cheek, cannot eat, or drink his bottle, salivating. had high fever yesterday. what should I do? yesterday the doctor said its a virus, but it was before the cheek swelled. toddler really really hates going to the doctor and cries terribly. thank you

Swelling inner left cheek with high fever indicate that it might be because of the infection. My recommendation would be that get child physically examined by physician and investigation and medication accordingly.
