Hi
From your query, its not clear- what are the present problems in your child.
Kids of this age group- can have 6 to 10 episodes of
Upper Respiratory Infection per year- that presents as
fever,
cold,
cough and even sore-throat.
The frequency will be more if your kid is sent to a daycare or play school.
Usually they are managed with fever medications and anti-histamines like
Sinarest AF for cold etc.
If secondary bacterial infections happen, antibiotics will be needed.
How ever if every time, her throat (tonsils and adenoids) get infected, the frequency is too much, it affects her growth too, you might get ENT doctor`s opinion too.
Give her a nutritious diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, nut, egg, 2 glasses of milk a day.
Teach her proper hand washing techniques.
Give her all the needed vaccines. Its better that you give her the optional vaccines like
flu vaccine,
pneumococcal vaccines too.
The frequency of the respiratory infections will come down slowly as your child grows.
However- repeated urinary infections- if culture proven- she has to be investigated. Make sure you give her plenty of water. Make sure she is not constipated. Deworm her regularly every 6 months with your doctor`s advice. While wiping her bums after she passes stools- do it from front to back. If you do it from back to front, chances of repeated urinary infections are there especially in a female kid.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wish your daughter good health.
