Child Having Blood In Urine. Test Report Shows High Protein Level, More RBC, Less WBC. Cure?

Hi my 3 year old daughter has had blood in her urine . I done a dipstick test which showed blood +++ and also high levels of protien. On her microbiology result it showed hardly any white cells and mostly red cells. She has no temprature or burning when urinating and today she has had 15 accidents before making the toilet.... Help

Hi

Please have your child seen by a Pediatrician.

A detailed look into her symptoms/ history and complete examination has to be done.

High levels of Protein and Blood in urine- In such a case Glomerular causes have to be ruled out.
Urinary infection can present with blood in urine, but high proteins are usually not seen.

So its better that you have the test reports seen by a Pediatrician- who can examine your child and proceed accordingly.

Thanks for your query.
Your baby is having hematuria with protenuria..
She needs to be evaluated for
-glomerular infection
-trauma
-kidney stones

She needs some more tests as.CBC,urine culture,RFT.sr,cholesterol,sr albumin,USG abdomen.
So you need to get her examined by pediatrician to establish cause and treat accordingly.
