Child Having Lack Of Concentration Level, Takes Time In Activities. How To Resolve This Problem?

Hi, I have a 7 year old child who achieves medium to high grades at school. The problem we have is a lack of concentration level including listening. Homework that should take approx. 30min takes 1hr + to complete. Sporting activities we find our child always looking around. Yet performing, achieves desired goals.
Frustrated parents, how do we resolve this problem?

I appreciate your concern. However you have not mentioned since when have you noted this problem. If this is of recent origin then we need to know what has precipitated this and try to eliminate the cause. Nevertheless, it will always be better to consult a child psychologist you will assess your child and give you specific guidance. You need to have patience handling him.

Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Don't frustrated by the child behavior.

Look for underlying problems such as hyperactivity, ADHD.

But as he is performing and achieving the desired goals nothing to worry.

Sports and games are essential and make the child to learn the rules and will help him in learning academics also. So don't worry in this aspect.

I advise you to take the child for pediatrician consultation to screen for any abnormality.
