Child Having Pink Eye With Swollen Eyelid, Sore And Itchy And Sensitive To Light
My 9 year old has what looks like pink eye inside the left eye only. It's pink inside the eye, the eyelid is a little swollen and its sensitive to light and sore and itchy. The difference is, from our pink eye before, is that this time it's also pinkish-red around the eye and down his left cheek. Is this pink eye or something else?

This could be conjunctivitis the most probable cause would be viral infection next the allergic condition would be there in both of these the eye should be treated for underlying cause but before this better to have opinion from ophthalmologist have nice day.
