Child Inserted Button In Nose, No Breathing Difficulty. What To Do?
My 3 years daughter said that she has inserted a button in her nose . Though the button is not visible. Dr also checked by endoscopy lens in nos only and not found in her nose. She has no issue in breathing . She has sound sleep without any breathing issue or some sound from mouth or nose. No other abnormal signs are visible. Is it possible that still button is there inside her nose? FYI, more than 21 days are passed to this event.
Hi,
Unfortunately button may not be visible in ray directly!
May be she swalowed it rather than putting into nose!
If it had gone to bronchi it may show indirect evidence with what is called atelectasis in lungs or obstructive emphsema. (medical terms for showing foreign body in breathing tube)
Absence of symptoms is a Good sign. Though this has happened before and diagnosed and removed after few months by bronchoscopy!(rarely in a few cases)
God bless and all the best
