Child Looks Like Gasping For Breath Since Two Days. Thinks She Has A Yawn Stuck. Serious Concern?

Hi, my 6 year old daughter seems to be breathing strangely for the past two days. She is not wheezing, does not have a cold, no fever, no other symptoms at all. She is gasping in for air through her mouth every few seconds. When I ask her if shes having trouble breathing she says she doesnt know but she thinks she just has a yawn stuck. Could this be something serious?

Hi!
welcome to HCM!
Gasping for breath is called 'dyspnea' and causes can be grouped into being due to the heart, the lungs, metabolic processes or as part of a panic attack.
Since apparently your child is not showing any symptoms,so may be she is anxious for some upcoming event, however you must get her examined by a pediatrician.hope this helps!
