Child Swallowed A Coin, Has Had Diarrhea. Anything Related With Coin ?
My 27 month old swallowed a coin last week or maybe two pennies. It was a penny and for the last two to three days she has had diarrhea. She is drinking a lot of water and eating fine, is this possibly related to the coin or some kind of virus. She doesn't have any fever and seems fine other than taking an extra nap during the day.
HI Thank for asking to HCM The chances of having infection due to the coin is more, so because this the kid may be having diarrhea, and it will come around soon without any specific treatment even if does not go away then need kid to be seen by pediatrician, does the coin is still inside or expelled out you did not say any thing about it, take car of your kid have nice day.
