Child Told Doctor That She Was Previously Molested. Had Questionable Bruises On Hips. Due To Sexual Abuse?

Hello, I am a concerned stepmother of an 11 yr old. She recently admitted to being sexually molested at the hands of her Stepfather some years ago(she admitted to abuse and said she was afraid to tell anyone, thats why it had been so long). She had some questionable bruises on both of her frontal parts of her hips a few years back and I cannot find them, but I know I have them on disc somewheres. When asked she said she didnt know where she got them, then to she fell off of her bike, then told her Grandmother that she fell against the counter. Im still not sure what happened but could you please tell me some possibilities of what this could be? Do you think this may have been abuse or do you see accidental bruises of this kind often? I dont think it was accidental as it raised concern when we seen them and thats why we took pictures of them. If I can find them, I will post them..
