Children Getting Sunburnt Easily. Any Creams To Use?

Hi there, I have 2 children ages 6 and 10 years. They are involved in sport during the day and I find they seem to burning very easily. I am presently using a sunblock on them with an SPF50. They burn to such an extent that there skin has this very dirty look. We are of hindu religion. Is there any creams or products I can use on them to avoid them from burning to such an extent or atleast something to restore there natural complexion .

Hi , Thanks for posting your query

The best way to avoid them from burning is to avoid sun exposure when the effects of the sun are the strongest, which is usually from about 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Put them full sleeve hirts and full pants , hats to prevent from sunrays

A broad spectrum sunscreen with spf 15 and UVA+++ is enough but has to be applied half an hour before sunexposure and repeat every 3-4 hours

Diet rich in ait C and A will help

Hope thi solves your query

Hi,
Any sunscreen which has SPF 15 or more is good enough. What you need to check is that the cream is water proof and gives protection against UVA and UVB rays.USe the cream liberally on the exposed areas ever 2-3hrs.Try playing out before 11am and after 4pm.Wear broad brim hats and long sleeves shirts. Also on a burnt area can try applying sandalwood or cucumber juice with glycerin to sooth the area.
Bye
