Children With White Discharge In The Eyes, Crusty Eyelids. What Is It?

my 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter both have this white goopy stuff in the inner corner of there eyes. My daughter had it first for a couple of days and my son just started with it today. While my daughter has had it, she would wake up in the morning with her eyes sealed shut with crusty stuff. what could this be...ps: my daughter has had a cold for the past 4 days.

hi , thanks for writing to us. it is clearly a case of infective conjuctivitis.
it spreads for person to person through contact, droplet infection.
it needs to be addressed ASAP and started apt medicines after a doctor examines.
meanwhile maintain hygiene , avoid dust wind sunlight straining of the eyes, thank you.
