Chlamydia Test Results Inconclusive So Should I Get A Retest Or Start Medication?
My chlamydia/ gonorrhea test results came back inconclusive. My doctor said they usually put those who come back inconclusive on antibiotics just to be on the safe side which includes a shot. She said I can get retested instead and see what happens this time. Should I retest or is there a high chance I have either or? I don t want to take anything that I don t need. My boyfriend and I only have sex with each other and we ve been together for 9 months, so neither of us knows where I would have received it from. Neither of us has any symptoms.
Hi Welcome to HCM since both are not having any symptoms and test came inconclusive you need not to worry in my opinion you should take a course of antibiotics to be on safer side as advised by your doctor have plenty of fluids practice safe sex maintain good hygiene
Hope this helps you thanks for your question wish you both good health
