Chronic Pain In Rib Area, Lower Back Pain, Received Magnesium Infusions, Ketamine Infusion. What Does This Mean?

i feel on a roof approx 12 months ago and # 7 ribs . since then i have had cronic pain in the rib area and lower back , i have been reciving injections in back to relive pain and also recive magnesium infusions every two weeks , i have been booked into hospital to recive a ketamine infusion but im worried that this will have no effect. . the last 6 months i have had stabing electric shocks in my rib area witch makes my right side jerk .

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since, how many ribs , having fracture , you have not mentioned.
#7 ribs ( seventh or seven ribs).
You might got laceration or perforation in pleurae or in lung tissue.
Old hematoma due to trauma may be the reason of excruciating pain.
Physical examination by orthopaedician/physician will reveal the exact nature of depth of injury.
