Clots In Head, Headache, Feeling Of Too Much Of Heartbeat. Less Platelet Count. Taking Wysoline Tablets. Cure For Headache?
Hello Doctor, My friend had clots in head and was hospitalized for 5 days due to lesser platelets counts (10,000). Now he is undergoing for regular check-up and taking Wysoline tablets for more than 5 months. Sometimes he gets too much of headchae and also feels too much of heat beats. Please let me know how he can cure his head ache and reason for the greater heart beats.
Dear Friend Nice to see your concern for your friend.
I would like to know the reason they you have been told of reduced platelet counts. Was he started on Wysolone after that? If yes, then your doctors must have diagnosed him having ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocyopenic Purpura).
What do you mean by saying he had clots in his head? When did this happen? He had bleeding or clotting? Did he suffer from any paralysis attack?
I would also like you to mention us that if he had increased/irrregular heart beats, is he suffering from some heart problem like mitral stenosis? Because conditions like this can lead to irregular heart beats throwing clots to the brain.
Please send us the detailed answers and attach the reports of investigations done during hospitalization.
Hope he gets well soon
Dr Anshul, M.D.
