Cold & Cough With Running Nose Of A 2 Years Old Baby
Hi, I have a 2year child and she is suffering from cold and cough.She is out of running nose.But cough is not coming out.Pls advice what can be done.Earlier I used to give topcef and cough came out.now its not so effective.Pls advice what can be done.

Topcef is antibiotic.Antibiotic is required when there is fever,yellow thick secretion from nose,noisy coughing.In viral condition it will not effective.otherwise only symptomatic treatment is required.
Consult your pediatrician for better medical management.

It can be viral in nature as A cold virus spreads through tiny, air droplets that are released when the sick person sneezes, coughs, or blows their nose, so antibiotics wont work in this type of cases.
Talk to your doctor before giving your child any type of nonprescription cold medicine or antibiotics....
