Cold, Neck And Shoulder Pain. Chest X Ray Shows Bronchitis. Prescribed Z Pack, IBU, Having Headache, Stiff Neck. Normal?
went to urgent care 4 days ago, with cold symptoms and severe shoulder and neck pain. They took my vitals as well as a chest xray an diagnosed as the beginnings of Acute Bronchitis/upper resp infect. Was given Zpack, IBU and Albut and while i SEEM to be progressing yesterday i started with a headache and the pain is still in my neck. Its almost as if i have an extreme stiff neck, is this normal?

You need to be examined as you have neck stiffness ,headache ,pain in neck.
This is not normal and this could be a serious infection .
Only azithromycin will not help.Neck stiffness and headache are because of infection in the coverings of the brain .And this is a serious matter . Needs urgent examination and needs to rule out meningitis .
You may also require a MRI scan
