Cold That Has Moved Onto Chest With Yellow And Deep Cough Causing Dizzy Feeling

I have had a cold for 10 days and its moved to my chest. I'm coughing up yellow tinged mucus and my head hurts, my nose is running and I have a deep cough that leaves me feeling dizzy after a coughing spell. Also I'm running a low grade fever. SHould I be worried

Hello. Thank you for your question. Often, when these symptoms begin, they are due to a virus. A virus will typically last between 7 and 10 days before resolving. If it persists longer, or continues to worsen, it is possible you have a bacterial infection requiring antibiotic. I don't believe you need to "worry", but I do recommend that you consult with your doctor. Then the correct diagnosis can be made and the appropriate treatment plan implemented.
