Colon Cancer, A White Spot Showed Up. Surgery, Chemo Done. Anything To Worry?
my son has had stage 4 colon cancer 4 years ago, had surgery, chemo . everything has been okay but, 2 years ago a small spot showed up at 1.7 cm it is now 2.0 cm 2 years later. nothing else show up anywhere in the body. He was give 4 to 6 months 4 years ago. with a spot that small what do you think would be his time.
Hi and welcome to HCM,thank you for your query. This is very good new that he survived so many years in stage 4. I dont thnik that white spot is related to colon cancer but it should be evaluated by specialist and sent to patohistologic analysis. i am sure this is not malignant and he should only do frequent follow up with colonoscopise and pet ct scan from time to time. Wish you good health. Regards.
