Comminuted Frature Of Proximal Phalanx. Using Carpal Wrist Sleeve. Treatment?

What will they do for a comminuted fracture of the fourth proximal phalanx with probable intraarticular extension to the proximal interphalangeal joint and a fracture at the base of the third proximal phalanx with intraarticular extension into the metacarpophalangeal joint? I am having a hard time getting into an ortho and so I put a carpal wrist sleeve on and it is feeling better.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The comminuted fracture is best treated by immobilization. Along with using the sleeve, you can take mild pain killers. Post traumatic stiffness is commonly seen in such cases.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
