Complications After Pituitary Gland Tumor Removal Surgery. Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, Ear Fullness. Treatment For Ear Fullness?
I have had several complications after a surgery to remove a pituitary gland tumour (benign). Among them, the prob I am experiencing is tinnitus , hyperacusis and feeling of full ear. An ENT suspects that I may have Patulous Eustachian Tube as I ve lost 6 kg since the surgery (but he is unsure as it is hard to diagnose). At the same time, I ve been diagnosed as having low-borderline Testosterone levels. Can anyone advise on my problem and possible treatments - relating to the ear issue?
hello.your ENT doctor is right in suspecting an eustachian tube dysfunction , and it is most likely due to your weight loss. i would recommend that you try yoga specially Pranayama , which helps increase the tone of muscles and reduce the dysfunction, a variety of surgical options also exist, which feel you should discuss with your ENT, thanks
