Constipation Followed By Sharp Stabbing Pain In Rectum Occasionally Visible. History Of Hiatal Hernia, Cough. Any Ideas?
Hello.
For the past week I've had some problems with my digestive tract. Nothing unusual (for me) until two days ago. Two days ago constipation showed up. Only small bits of feces came out. Naturally, I strained and pushed hard. Yesterday I've developed a sharp stabbing pain in my lower rectum. Most of the time its not noticeable. It becomes noticeable if I try to push (as if passing a stool). Another time when it becomes noticeable is when I sit (it disappears after a couple of seconds) in the chair after I've walked around. My question is what could this be? Just a strain or something more.
Additional details: For the past two weeks I've bee coughing a lot because of the cold ( just a common cold, nothing serious). I'm 27 years old, male. I smoke and I have a depression. I also sit a lot (job + studying). I also have hiatal hernia.
