Contract Bacterial Vaginosis Always After Sex. Any Effect On Taking Metronizole And Using Ovulation Monitor?
Hi I am a reoccurring bv patient and no matter what I do I seem to keep contracting it always after sex. I have bv now and I am ttc and was wondering if taking the metronizole will interfere with that happen and when using ovulation monitors will it give me false reading

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well metronidazole usually does not cause bacterial vaginosis. Apart from the antibiotics, i would suggest you to maintain personal hygiene, drink lots of water, keep your vagina clean, also void after having sexual intercourse, and also partner needs to be treated simultaneously when you are treated.
