Contracted Impetigo, Got Cold Sores, Fever And Sun Blisters. Are These Breakouts ?
I am a 48 yr old female who contracted impetigo as a young child. Throughout my life ive gotten cold sores easily and fever and sun blisters also. Are these breakouts still a result of the impetigo? Also, 2 yrs ago i got rushed to the hospital because i couldnt breathe. Tests proved i had msra in my lungs. Was this from impetigo? One last thing, since i had msra in my lungs/chest i get sores that look like msra under my breasts once in a while and i recently got one onmy inner thigh. My boyfriend thinks the msra came from mold that was in our apt. But i was wondering if it came from impetigo as a young child really? your going to charge me to answer. I am an unemployed single mom who is homeless right now. I dont have money...thanx anyway

Firstly we won't charge you for the question asked!
An episode of impetigo in childhood would not lead to these infections in adulthood. The lesions that you get beneath your breasts or thighs are not due to MRSA but due to intertrigo which could be frictional or fungal in nature. application of steroid antifungal combination cream should help in resolution of lesion. Once lesions resolve, use antifungal dusting powder to prevent recurrence.
