Cough Causing Tenderness In Sides Of Abdomen. Hurts To Touch. Had Pneumonia, Pleurisy Previously. Normal?
I suddenly got a cough, friday and have been coughing so much, both sides of my abdomen are very tender even to touchin the front middle closest to the middle of my body, is this normal? when ive had pnemounia in the past i had the pleurisy which was different it just hurt to breath in or cough this is just a constant hurt?
Thanks for query on hcm. Pain in abdomen is most likely due to muscular sprain. It might be due to continuous use of muscle with coughing. Start treatment to control the coughing like levocetrizine/montelukast. Bronchodilator with ambroxol. During severe episodes of coughing ,use rotahaler with bronchodilator rotacaps. You can take oral nsaid to subside pain and also apply nsaid gel locally. Steam inhalation will be helpful. Get examined by your doctor for proper diagnosis and medication. Keep in touch with your doctor.
