Cough/cold For 2 Weeks Now, Pain Under The Right Shoulder Blade, Tightness In Chest. Why ?
I have had a cough/ cold for almost 2 weeks know. I feel like I have to cough or at least clear my throat but I never seem to get that good hearty cough. I haven t brought anything up with the cough either. When Ido cough, I get a sharp painjust under my right shoulder blade and even when I am not coughing, my chest feels tight. When I am trying to get that one good cough, I am finding it hard to get breathe? Any ideas
Hello,
Thanks for writing your query to us.
Your symptoms suggest that you have developed chest congestion. Try taking steam inhalation twice a day that will loosen up the cough & than you will be able to bring out the cough. Usually a cough & cold responds to any form of treatment within 1 week or atleast shows signs of improvement in 1 weeks period. If your symptoms are still the same , or are getting aggrevated than i would suggest that you should visit a physician so that he can examine you . Xray of chest would also help to come to a conclusion of non responding cough.
Wish you good health.
