Cough For 6 Months, Feeling Every Beat Of Heart. Unable To Find Reason

I had a continuing cough for 6 months between January and June. It cleared up but is slowly returning. It's as though I feel every beat of heart and wind gets knocked from back of throat/base of neck to cause me to cough. It's worse, as is heart movement when I raise my heart beat/exercise or laugh a lot. No cure or reason was found last time.

Hello
chronic cough could be because of any infectious disease.
first you should get done a chest x ray done to get chest infections ruled out. Then you can get done nasal examinaton and take treatment for reflux disease.
Whether you have reflux or not this is very common cause of chronic cough.
in doubt do reply

General & Family Physician Dr. Het Ram Bishnoi 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
I would come up with these possibilities for this type of chronic cough, these includes.
1 .Allergic bronchitis ( asthmatic ) , usually in this type of cough allergy is responsible .Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical as well clinical examination by a physician . Usually this type of cough is stimulated by mite, dust, cotton fiber, hay , cold , sudden rise & fall of temperature , pollen, mold.
Avoidance of these provides relies.
Sudden exercise increase demand of oxygen , but due to bronchoconstriction there develops cough.
2 Throat infection is the next reason. Diagnosis can be confirmed by swab from the throat.
3 Eosinophilia may be possible next reason.Diagnosis can be confirmed by blood examination for eosinophils count.
In my opinion as all tests are normal so ,consult a physician and get his treatment for asthmatic allergic bronchitis.
Good luck.
