Could 2 Miscarriages Be Due To Under Active Thyroid Levels?

Hello,

I have suffered 2 missed misscariges, both at 7 weeks. After the 2nd i got some blood tests done and i have an underactive thyroid tsh=15.5 and t4=10.6.

I am on 50mg of levothyroxine. I am to go back in 8 weeks to get my bloods done again.

Do you believe there is a link between underactive thyroid and misscarige? Also what is the time scale for me to get my levels normal to try for another baby.

Are there any foods i should avoid? And anything else i could add to my diet to help?

Thanks
