Could Fertly Tablets Be Taken On The Second Day Of Spotting?

I got my periods on 15th of feb. i was supposed to get my periods on 8th feb... I noticed a small drop of blood then there is no blood flow only. Doctor had suggested me to take fertly super tablets from 2nd day of my period. Nw I am getting confused tat I got my period or not. Shall I take fertly tablets or not nw? Hpt was also negative
